How long does company formation in Vietnam take for a foreign investor?

Core registration typically takes around 20–35 business days for most businesses after complete and compliant documentation is ready, depending on business activities, ownership structure, licensing requirements, and the relevant authorities. Full operational setup (corporate banking, tax setup, digital signatures, and e-invoicing) can extend the total timeline before you are fully up and running.

Can I set up a company in Vietnam without visiting in person?

In most cases, yes. Documents can be notarized and legalized in your home country and submitted through a local consultant acting under power of attorney. And when you do visit, our Sai Gon Ward office is easy to reach.

What happens after my company is registered?

Registration is the start, not the finish: your entity takes on continuing obligations to the authorities, alongside payroll and insurance registration.
